What’s a MOOC?

The information on this page is specific to 2024-2025 participants in the auxiliary program. The MOOC hasn’t been updated for the current school year since I have lost access. If you have the updated link, please send it to me!
  • An online class
  • A “Portfolio” or website that shows what you have done so far as an auxiliary teacher. There is a specific rubric you need to follow to meet all the requirements, but for the most part, it serves as an introduction to you and your work at the school.
  • A final project that is basically a detailed lesson plan.
The MOOC will include information about how to include a creative commons license, but you can also find a guide here: https://creativecommons.org/get-cc-savvy/get-a-cc-license/
The MOOC may change from year to year. Just make sure to meet all the requirements found on the course. (Link)
